Description
This coffee comes from volcanic soils in the Mt. Oku and Bamboutos regions of Cameroon. Most producers in these regions are small farmers, growing a multitude of other plants year round in between coffee trees. It is believed that the combination high altitude, the volcanic soil, and interaction between these plants, give this coffee an exceptional flavor rich taste. Our goal as micro-roasters is to further exemplify the hard work and dedication that farmers have placed into each coffee bean, ensuring that we preserve the flavor so carefully crafted from the very beginning of each coffee bud.
Directions:
1 ounce of grounded coffee for every 16 ounces of water.

The scent of freshly brewed coffee is the first highlight of the day and Kuntz Coffee aroma is great! Not only that, each cup is purely delicious. I read Kuntz Coffee is grown in the high mountains and each coffee bean has the greatest quality. Drinking my first cup of this coffee I noticed the unique taste and I knew immediately I found my coffee. I am not disappointed in buying this special brand and I will buy it again.

As a caffeine and coffee addict this is one good cup of coffee. You are hooked as soon as you open the bag and are hit with that “fresh roasted aroma” that you only get with a freshly roasted bag of beans. I air press my coffee and you can always tell how fresh the beans are by the head you get as you add the hot water to it. The bag I received produced a head a little over an inch high. It was smooth with a slight nutty after taste that was quite pleasant and one cup was not enough! I have to add that a member of my family owns a small roasting company so I have had coffee that is as fresh as can be. If these guys could make this any fresher they would have to set up in you kitchen and roast it the night before!

Good for drip and French press, but not rich enough to make Espresso.

I’m not a fancy coffee aficionado but I can say without any reservation that this stuff is unicorns and rainbows in bean form. It’s a good strong brew that tastes great and wakes me up. Not much more I can ask for. Also, I’ve found that the Kuntz Coffee variety works well for cold brewing. Good stuff.

No bad, but I was expecting more giving that I had to pay $6 for shipping, I don’t think I’ll reorder.

Somewhat bland, but smooth and no bitterness, using a normal grind and similar amount as required. I guess I expected more coffee flavor. Ive made two pots with similar results. next time I will double the amount of coffee and see if it improves.

Best local coffee roaster in Atlanta. My husband and I are big coffee snobs, we moved to Atlanta a year ago, and we have tried almost all local coffee. There are a few good ones like Octane and Batdorf & Bronson, but Kuntz coffee is by far the best in the sens its has a totally different and unique taste, you either love it or hate it.

This is a good coffee. Very smooth and not bitter at all. However, I like a much stronger coffee (ie: dark roast) than this. No matter how I grind it or how much/little water I use, it never tastes very strong. If they made a dark roast with stronger taste, yet with the same characteristics as this coffee, it’d be 5 stars.

Much better than other coffee beans. The smell and the taste is awesome.

Good coffee, a great change of pace as for me I will get sick of any coffee no matter how good it is. I drink only black coffee and these beans are
good and very reasonably priced as well. If Trader Joes really closes I will be likely buying more of this. Good alternative to their Breakfast Blend for me.

The first few bags of beans were pretty good, but I feel the quality was not as good as before. It’s probably 3 stars (OK) for me now.

I bought the coffee for my coworker, it was his bday and he Had mentioned Kuntz coffee many times. I asked if he had it yet a few days later, he said, No, that’s not a coffe for my commute, I need to sit down and enjoy the good taste of it. That’s said it all, I’m ordering coffe for myself too.

Got this for my uncle as a gift. It is his favorite coffee, and he orders it so much, the company sent him a free mug. For those who really rely on their caffeine to get them through the day, this coffee is for you. It will make your adrenal glands go into fatigue.

I know what I like when it comes to coffee, and sadly I won’t be purchasing more Kuntz Coffee. Positives: no aroma, low bitterness. Negatives: dull taste. Of course coffee is a very person-to-person experience and your review may differ.
