Description
This coffee comes from volcanic soils in the Mt. Oku and Bamboutos regions of Cameroon. Most producers in these regions are small farmers, growing a multitude of other plants year round in between coffee trees. It is believed that the combination high altitude, the volcanic soil, and interaction between these plants, give this coffee an exceptional flavor rich taste. Our goal as micro-roasters is to further exemplify the hard work and dedication that farmers have placed into each coffee bean, ensuring that we preserve the flavor so carefully crafted from the very beginning of each coffee bud.
Directions: 1 ounce of grounded coffee for every 16 ounces of water.

Good coffee… I don’t think coffee should taste like spiced corn-nuts, and this absolutely does not.

I received my first order, made and drank a few mugs, used a coffee press. Good coffee if you like a french roast flavor.

I bought this as a gift and I think it has a nice, well balanced flavor, however I feel that it’s nothing to write home about. I feel like it’s just average coffee. The best compliment I could give it is that it’s balanced, not too acidic, not too bland. But not special either.

Great aroma, extra horsepower, competitively priced.

Approachable coffee – a little light for my taste so I make it stronger but smooth, not too acidic.

Bought this coffee because it’s what my favorite coffee shop serve now. It smells great, but doesn’t taste as good as what I get from the coffee shop, I’ll try to brew it differently.

I like the coffee from these guys. Best coffee in Atlanta, full, strong flavor, no bite.

I love my coffee ,the liquid of life, but this one not so much. I drink coffee straight, nothing else added, was not crazy about this one.

I love medium dark coffees. At the store recently I purchased a gourmet brand of medium-dark and was delighted with it, but I always enjoy trying others and comparing them. Don Pablos took more than twice the amount of the other brand to get close to my taste. I used four heaping teaspoons to make a pot of the other while this one took eight and a half to get to my taste. The other brand was pre-ground, this one is whole bean and ground by myself. After I got the right amount into the pot it was delicious and am drinking a cup as I write this review. It is definitely tasty.

Great coffee, very similar to Burundi coffee I get from Whole food, and much fresher.

This is a wonderfully rich and flavorful coffee, without any bitterness, even when brewed very strong; when used in my french press (and using water that’s 205 degrees, it cannot be beat.

Is it the strongest coffee I’ve had? Probably not. Is it one of the best tasting? Yes. The flavor transports me to some random and sinful island in Indonesia (a story for another day). This is one incredibly great tasting coffee. I would easily say second best I’ve ever had and certainly the best I’ve purchased at a store.
